Friday was the usual work day.. I had done the housey stuff earlier that morning so that I could go home and chill straight away.
And I was so grateful! I got home, had a shower and straight into my comfies with a glass of wine on the sofa. Bliss!
Antony came home and we chilled all. night. long. We ordered curry which was amazing and had such a lovely night.
Saturday morning, I got up and cleaned/tidied the whole house. Antony made us some cheese on toast and we got ready for the day.
We were off to a bbq at Antony's friend's house to celebrate a couple of the girls in the group being pregnant. Exciting times!
Ant was going to drive.. but soon after leaving the house we ended up in Tesco buying lots of booze, surprise surprise! We have no self control.
It was such a brilliant day. The sun was shining (for most of it), everyone was there, chatting, laughing. It was awesome.
I decided I'd take on the boys and persuade them to have a (jokey) fight with me. As soon as one of them, Tay, punched me, all the boys started on him! Was hilarious.
I did wake up the next day with a sore arm where he'd punched me. I was happy to hear he was the same the next day (or so he says anyway)
I tried to make more of an effort with the girls as I've mentioned before that sometimes I feel like they might dislike me or think I'm a bitch as I always hang round with the boys. I don't know why! I just always do.. the girls sit and chat and the boys are loud and silly and I think that's a bit more me.
Cheryl, who's bbq it was along with her husband Chris ended up trying to do some pull ups on a wooden thingy outside and then everyone had a go. It was really funny to watch.. the man were eager to have their go and show off. I couldn't do one.. I couldn't even reach the floor once Ant had lifted me up to get my hands on it.
Then we ended the night with the girls doing a spice girls dance routine (I winged it as I didn't know it) it was so funny. We then moved on to the cha cha slide which we got everyone doing.
It was a really awesome day and night! I do love that lot.
Me and Ant went home around 1:30am and even though we didn't need it as we'd eaten loads of bbq food.. we ordered pizza. Standards.
