Catch up

Oh dear.. I really haven't written on here since the 27th June and it's the 10th July now! Oops!

So I'm not gonna go through each day since because honestly, I've no idea what I've been up to.

Last weekend.. me and Antony went out to the Slug and Lettuce for cocktails with Ant's work lot as his workmate was leaving. It was fun! I ended up sat next to one of the guys there who loved drag race and we chatted on and on for ages about drag queens, gay pride, cats and fun stuff like that. It was awesome! 

Abby and Ben came out and had a couple with us, before we all got a cab to a pub in Sunbury where Hannah and her boyfriend Bax and few more mates were there to celebrate Bax's birthday. 

There were a few friends there I'd not seen in ages which was really cool to catch up. 

We had lots of drinks and laughs and ended up going to back Han and Baxter's for more drinks and stupidness haha, it was good fun.. and then I realised it was 4am I grabbed Ant and made us go home! I hate that stupid time!! I love my sleep so much and I hate it being in a stupid order rather than a normal sleep in the night time and wake up in the morning the next day.. ya know?

The next morning Ginette came round at 8:30.. I'd honestly been asleep for about 3 hours and I couldn't face it! I made Ant get the door and I went back to bed. Apparently so did Ant, I thought he'd stayed up with Ginette but she took one look at him and told him to go back.

This was really bad of us to be honest because we were supposed to be up chatting with Lee who is coming to do loads of work on our garden/mancave soon.. So they did it without us and went home. 

I woke up around 11 and text our apologies... we knew we were out Friday and we didn't know they were coming until Friday morning but still.. we should've made the effort to not stay out so late. 

Anyway, hanging out of our arses, me and Ant honestly did nothing that Saturday. We did nothing but eat and chill. It was nice. 

The next day, I woke up and cleaned the whole house and did the washing etc.. all the things that make me feel better about my life choices the previous day lol!

So Sunday was very productive, house and everywhere was clean. Ginette and Albert came round and we chatted about the garden and plans and then we got to work. Me and Ant popped out for milk and supplies.. came home and forgot the milk.. idiots!

But yeah, we dug up the path in the garden, got mowing and all sorts. It was SO hot, so hard work. But good to start it. 

This is a pic of the garden after Sunday's work. The plan is to dig up all the diagonal path, and the two triangular bits on the side so we can have a straight garden, straight path and the decking going all the way accross the back. We just want it to look neat and not this weird wonky shape, some weirdo decided to create. 

Now it finally feels like we're gonna do this! We then all got clean and relaxed on the sofa with some tikka wraps and excessive amount of chips and curly fries.
