Saturday..
So Saturday morning, I woke up and went off to the gym. I did a circuits class which was a bit of a killer to be honest! Lots of upper body which I really need to start doing more of.
I got back from the gym and me and Antony ate the pizza that we accidentally ordered the night before.
Antony went off into the garden to start mowing and I started cleaning the kitchen.. Adult life!
All of the shopping I'd ordered arrived and I excitedly put it all away (yes really) I love a full kitchen! Anyway, Ant continued to garden and I started cooking up some meals which I'd planned to do over the weekend.
It was such a lush day, nice and chilled and so good to know we had no plans.
Ant popped out to his friends for a little bit and came back with some gorgeous flowers and some cherries which I didn't know whether I liked or not. He's so bloody cute!
He bought me the flowers cos they’re purple and my fave colour.
I loved the cherries too, can't believe I've just discovered them.
I cooked and Antony chilled for the rest of the day then we both went to shower and decide what to do with our night.
We ended up walking to a nearby pub about.. 40 mins walk away. It was so beaut! It was such nice weather still and so we sat in the pub garden which was huge and really pretty!
We had such a nice night. Properly chilled out, chatted and the food was incredible! It was a little pricey but so worth it. Bacon and duck flatbread MMM!
We (Ant) decided to get an uber home rather than walk and we got home around 9:30, on the sofa ready to slob. We are getting old but I bloody love it.
Sunday morning I woke up and went off to the gym, I went to a tone class which was really good. Lots of chest though and I'm pretty sure that's the weakest muscle on me.
I got home, Antony made us bacon sarnies, cos he's a top babe.
Then we pretty much did the same as the day before, I cooked more food and Antony chilled more!
This week I made: Sweet potato cottage pie, frigging spicy jerk chicken, chilli, peanut Thai chicken, Beef and red onion stew, chilli chicken and basil spaghetti and chicken jalfrezi.
OH then we booked a holiday!!! We sat down and both sat on our phones looking at different places/prices/reviews etc and to be honest it was a bit annoying in the end cos we'd try and book one and suddenly the price would jump up. Anyway we got there in the end!
We are going to Gran Canaria which neither of us have been to before.. our hotel looks amazing with great reviews and it's 10 mins from the beach and 10 mins from a big complex which has bars/restaurants/clubs and DRAG SHOWS OMG.
Apparently it's home to lots of gay couples and they love it there. I am so excited!
So once we'd booked we were both buzzing dancing around the kitchen.
The food looks amazing!!!! Why didn't you book to come to jamaica with us!!!
