Arcadia!!!!

Where do I start!

It's been a mad couple of days..

Saturday was a loooovely day, me and Antony took out some blankets and chilled in our garden. It was so beautiful to lie there and just think ahh, relaxing in our own lil garden together. 

Until he started to wind me up by pushing me out of his shade and putting his cold cold coke can on me! He just loves to annoy me, honestly! But no, it was really nice. 

I then got ready and he dropped me off and the pub with my 2 besties Hannah and Abby - the pokemon professionals and squirrel friends.

We sat chatting and having a cider in the pub garden and slowly but surely the other girls joined us. It was good! But I did leave around 11 as I wanted to be on top form the next day.. even though I was quite drunk!

I got home and me and Ant ordered pizza and chilled. 

The next morning, I got up excited!! Went and fed my friend's cats and started to get ready asap. It was ARCADIA DAY!! Literally so excited. 

I started pre drinking vodka at about 9am, still feeling a little hungover but so ready for the day! It was another really sunny day and I love that.

Hannah and Katy came round and started getting ready with vodka and glitter. Matty then came round and we headed to the station to meet Baxter and Fraz.

We all managed to get on the same train and get going.. me and the girls were pre drinking and annoying the guys.. as per usual! The train/tubes were hot and we were all desperate to get there. 

After a looooong and sweaty walk, we finally arrived! The queue in was super quick and we headed straight to the bar! We could see Arcadia and hear the tunes already. Ahh just writing it I can feel the excitement I had on Sunday.

After getting a drink we headed to the tent we could hear drum and bass coming from. It was baaaaaaaanging!! We all did the usual OIIIIIII and started skanking out. I got myself up on a little podium of course! It was awesome but SO hot so we ended up going back and forth in and out of the tent. Cooling down, wanting to rave, cooling down, needed to raaaave. We also had lots of trips to the bar and walked around, it wasn't a huge place so couldn't get too lost. 

Although there were a lot a lot of phone calls/texts of where are you?! WHERE!!? Can you see me waving?!

It was such an incredible day! We had such a laugh and a good ole rave. We used to go every other weekend about 7/8 years ago and now we go every few months! If that! So it was awesome to do it again and with some old friends. 

We headed over to Arcadia as it was about to get darker and have some tunes on (it did have some during the day but not skatty enough for us). 

To be honest, it was amazing but did take aaaaaaaaaages to get the actual tunes on and the drops going... felt like we were constantly waiting for the music to start really.. 

Frazer was making me crease, I was getting so much enjoyment out of him shouting 'This is shit!!! Put some drum and bass on!!! House was yesterday! This is shit!!'

But eventually it did get better and we were having itttttttttttt. I spent a lot of time holding Hannah's hand cos I just had no balance as there was a little ledge and everyone was bigger than me.. and maybe alcohol had a lil part to play.

Antony put me on his shoulders and Bax put Hannah on his and WOW! It was bloody amazing. I miss so much being small! Arcadia is just awesome, they had little spidery things crawling out the side of it, jellyfish things coming out and people dancing around. FIREEEEE coming out. Was. Awesome.

We raved and raved until we could take no more.. and I must say I must be getting old because I did get to the point I was done. It was 15 mins before the event ended and I just wanted to sit down.

Hannah felt the same and it was good to have someone on the same page as me throughout the rave I must say! Hannah is the best person to go raving with cos we always wanna do the same thing. Anyway, we waited around for ages and tried to figure out how to get home for aaaaages. 

Finally £200 later, into an uber.

I felt sooo rough and had to get out of the car to throw up on the way back.. luckily we were stopped and I got out casually and yeah... lots and lots of liquid haha. I hadn't eaten all day.

I got home and straight into bed! What. A. Day!!!!!
