Kettlebell klass

So Wednesday went well!! 

I ate well..ish.. and I went to a body build class after work which was really good! Nicely aching today. 

Me and Ant then headed home to have the stew I'd made the other week and frozen, it was delicious! (Lois if you're reading this, we ate it but I am making it again on Sunday for us to have Tues haha).

And then we had a separate together night! I was about to explain what that meant and then thought.. the clues in the name. Antony played his game and I watched programmes he hates. Last night it was My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. It was great, I love reality tv shows. Love Island is starting soon and I'm so excited. Antony is not. 

So that was our evening. 

Thursday was samey. We both went off to work, I did a kettlebell circuit class at lunch which was good! It was actually pretty hard but good hard. I was sweating! I actually wrote it down afterwards so I could re-do:

Antony got his courtesy car whilst I was at the gym, which is great news as I get my car back! It's a nice little car as well. Now we wait for his mashed up car to be taken away and either repaired or written off.

Then yep, back to work as normal. I then left work and headed to meet Lois at her dad's house to we could go out for a chill in a pub for her birthday celebrations. It's a Thurs and we're all trying to eat healthily so it was a chilled meet up. 

We all have a diet coke and chatted away. We gave Lois her pressies which she seemed to like! They were all pretty girly and smelly stuff, so she's going to have the best pamper sesh on Saturday! Kinda jealous.. kinda might have to get some smelly stuff on lunch and copy her.

So yeah, it was a nice evening, we just had a catch up and a gossip as usual! The guy Sarah is seeing seems to be totally into her! Which is really nice, I'm hoping it works out for her as being in a happy relationship is awesome!

I headed home and munched my (healthy!) dinner as soon as I got home as I was starving! This is the first day in forever I've actually eaten well and I plan on sticking to it as I just feel so much better about like when I eat well/gym!

Anyway, after doing a couple bits for the next day me and Ant chilled on the sofa. My fave.

Bank hols

Sunday I literally slobbed for the entire day! I know it seems like a waste and obviously being hungover sucks. But I do quite enjoy a ridiculously lazy day. 

I binge watched the whole of 13 Reasons Why, which is a very sad and deep show about a girl who commits suicide. She leaves 13 tapes for people explaining how they contributed to her death. Horrible right?! So yeah, I watched the whole thing. 

I cried a fair few times and Antony ended up going to Mattys.. I cant understand why! 

I literally got up only to pee and eat more food, it was fabulous. 

Then Monday was a bank holiday and I felt better! I love waking up feeling human again, it's always good. 

Ant and I woke up quite late, which we really needed. And then we cleared up the house.. okay, I wrote that then remembered actually I cleared up the house. Antony has this tactic where as soon as I say lets sort the house out he needs a fag.. or a poop.. AGG!

So once the house was tidy anyway, we had some food and then I got ready. Our friend Emma was having a bbq for her boyfriend's birthday. We headed there, picking up some drinks on the way.

It was really nice! Me and Emma used to be really really close but now we only really see each other at social events. So it's nice when we do! It was an awesome day, sitting around chatting, eating and drinking. We talked a lot about Rupaul and Love Island and so Ant had to 'grin and bear it' as he later told me!

That night was a bitch to try and sleep as I was so full of food and it was so hot!! The thought of work the next day as well just.. ugh!

Me and Ant woke up Tuesday feeling so rubbish. Neither had had enough sleep at all.

It was raining and really gloomy.. back to work after a long weekend and no sleep.. really sucked. But we ploughed through! I need to take Ant to work and back now after Friday'sincident.. actually I say that, he drives as I hate his dodgy parking at his work. So yeah, it's quite annoying as I start later and finish earlier than him! So I ended up walking from my work to his in the pouring rain and waiting for him. 

We got home, made lunches and then I got in a nice long bath. Finally. 

We ended up going to Burger King as we have vouchers. So its nice and cheap.. and we just cant seem to be healthy these days! It's doing my head in. 

I want to gym, and eat healthy and get enough sleep but it's not going to plan at all. 

It's now Wednesday morning and I'm determined to eat well and gym after work.. I can do this! 

Crashing the party

Well Friday night was actually a little more eventful than planned! Ant called me to say he had been in a car accident! He told me he was fine.. PHEW.. that someone had gone into the back of him. 

Ant and I can be very different in these kinds of situations, I tend to worry and panic and act like a child! And Antony is like.. oh well.. shit happens. Which is really good as it calms me down and it makes a whole lot more sense that my stupid reaction! 

So anyway, after him sending me lots of pics and telling me he was fine over and over again (he hates being fussed over!) he was actually allowed to drive the car home!

Ants is the black car. 

Clearly, it's not okay to drive anymore but was good he could drive home and not have to wait around to be towed etc. 

So after Ant called his insurance company, we ordered pizza and decided to enjoy our evening still.

Saturday morning, we got up and decided to go for a walk as we were both up early, the sun was shining and we could do with getting a few bits whilst we were out. Oh and we skipped gym so this was easy exercise. 

WELL I say easy exercise, the way there was great! Well apart from Ant is just constantly a mean pie (mp) to me and wont hold my hand and be cute.. until I punch him that it muaha.

We got into Egham and ended up in a pub. It was 5 somewhere or whatever that saying is.. had a drink and then went into Tesco and get a few bits for home. Mainly booze. 

So the way back was so hard!! It was so hot and we had to carry so much.. we were dying when we got home. 

Anyway, we got back, got showered and started getting ready for the day. I ended up giving Ant a lift to Matty's which was stresssssssssful as it was super hot and I was rushing to get back and get ready for RUPAUL EVENT.

Anyway, the girls arrived (Hannah and Abby) we listened to Rupaul, drank and got ready.. sweating! It was literally too hot to function. 

We were pretty drunk before we left as we tend to try and get really drunk before we leave.. stupid idea but great at the time! 

We got an uber and then a train and faffed over the journey for ages! BUT we eventually made it and the queue looked massive! I ended up leaving the queue to go to a corner shop and get a bottle of wine for us to share.. we sooo did not need this at all. Especially as we had to down it as the queue moved faster than expected. 

We got in.. and went to the bar! Can you see where this is going??

We got to a good spot so that we could see and not be to squished.. we waited around for quite a while for the drag queens to come on. We expected Michelle Visage which we were suuuper excited about but instead we just got a video of her at the beginning.. still cool I guess. And then Lady Bunny was the host.. who we didnt know much about other than the queens talking about her in the show.

Anyway they finally came on and it was AMAZING! To see them all in the flesh we were all fangirling big time! Properly screaming as they all walked round the stage. 

They then all took it in turns to perform, which is them lip syncing. The first was someone I dont hugely like.. which is annoying as I remember her the most clearly. 

Next was Kim Chi! She was bloody awesome! Then I don't actually rememeber who was next as we drank lots and just got messy. Shame on us. Really do regret this as I was so looking forward to seeing them all! 

I do remember a few performances and really really enjoying myself! I also (kind of) remember going up to the bar and I must have lent over it or done something stupid because the whole thing fell on me!

 Apparently Hannah and Abby turned round and I was on the floor with the bar, straws and mats all on top of me! (sorry mum! but the bar musnt have been in the ground in my defence?) 

So we ended up leaving anyway, and then stuck in the pouring rain and a massive thunderstorm whilst we waited for a cab! Kinda fun.. kinda not! Then yeah, the journey home was really long as we missed one train, had to wait for another.. then another cab.. etc etc. 

I went straight to bed when we got home! Which sucks cos we should have taken it slowly! We should have enjoyed every second of the show.. then gone back to mine and played Rupaul songs and carried on.. one day we'll learn.. one day.. 

The next morning it turned out Abby had slept downstairs and I don't think was too happy with me and Hannah.. I get the impression it was me and Hannah being really messy and not all of us like I thought!

Frumpy friday

It's Friyay! 

The weather is rubbish though and so I'm not happy about that.. I also feeling bit meh about today. I just don't have a huge amount on at work which I don't like. I'd much rather be busy.

I'm also going to the gym at lunch time with Antony and we're doing arms, which I need to do as I don't do it a lot. But MEH. I like doing squats, legs/glutes stuff and cardio so you feel good afterwards. I just feel like I'm gonna hate it and then be annoyed. 

I'm just being a hormonal to be completely honest! I need to cheer up though as it's Friday and it's a 3 day weekend and I've got some awesome plans lined up!

So the plans today are work, gym, work, get home and chill! I woke up this morning and sorted the housey stuff out before I left so that I could get home and do nothing straight away - great planning ey!

New Rupaul tonight and Rupaul event tomorrow, so excited! I don't know what to wear as I want to glam it up and be glittery OTT drag hunny but it is supposed to be hot and so I don't wanna be boiling and my sequence (whey) top is quite heavy. 

Then Sunday I am bound to be hanging and tired as we'll get back late and Ant will probably come home late as well and it may turn into a drinking games sesh. Unless we've all crashed early as I think we're all starting early.

Monday I'm dragging Ant and Matty to a gym class! Can't wait. And then one of my friend's Emma is having a bbq. Let hope the weather improves or I'm going to sulk!

Okay so update on this - I went to the gym with Antony and just seeing him cheered me up!

The arm session was good actually, we did a few different sets and really got into it.. then realised we had to leave as we needed to get ready to go back to work. Booo!

But yeah, it was good and I went back to work in a happier mood. I'm just feeling sluggish and really bloated. Being a girl really sucks sometimes.. I've no appetite and have hardly eaten yet I need to undo my jeans at my desk. Ugh

I cannot wait to leave and get into floppies, have some wine and chill! 

I’m currently stuck at work at the phones keep ringing and there’s no-one really here to take them so I am just sort of waiting until I think everyone’s sorted... 

Hometime feels so close but so far!

Boring blog

Wednesday was a normal Wednesday to be honest.. Work, gym, home. BOSH there's my day. 

Genuinely can't say anything else happened, it was pretty boring! I got home and Ant went off to the gym so I spent most of it just chilling and then when Ant got back, chilled some more. 

Thursday was the same to be honest! So this post is hella boring. I woke up, went to work and then met Ginette and Alber for lunch (An't mum and her husband) and we chatted about the mancave. 

The plan is to sort the garden out first, which we have started.. we need to give Ant's uncle a call as he is a gardener (well I assume so anyway?) and get him to quote us on getting the path we currently have, dug out. At the moment it's a diagonal path which we don't like as it's just wonky and weird. 

So we want to dig it out and make a straight path, pull out the decking as we want all new decking at the back, again in a straight line as it's a corner thingy at the moment. 

So yeah, that's the plan at the moment! Ginette and Albert are so helpful and know what they're talking about which is great as I haven't a clue! I just wish we were rich and could hire people to do the whole thing for us. 

So tonight my plan is to get home, do some housey stuff, have dinner and head to a circuits class at 8:15.. Hannah still hasn't come with me. This time I don't blame her as she's been hanging all day.. know I'd just want to get home and sleep.

To be honest, I do just want to go home and slob! I am feeling tired today. Yawn.

Almost.. the.. weekend..

Carvery catch up

Tuesday, I woke up and headed to the gym to do a leg session. 

It was fun and I lifted heavy.. I was surprised to not be aching the next day! I love aching and I hate when I wake up fine.. not like Antony who hates it and complains loads about his sore baby muscles haha!

I then headed to work to start the day. Same old really.. nothing to report. 

I met Ant for lunch and we went straight to the river so we could sit and eat our lunch in the sunshine. 

Ant lay down on the grass and I lay my head on top of his back so we could have a top 10/10 chill sesh before going back to work. It was b e a utfiul! Until we had to go back of course.. work that afternoon was fine, again nothing to report! Just life-ing.. 

After work though, I headed into Shepperton to meet Lois and Sarah, two of me besties. We met up at the Goat which is a pub that serves carvery! I bloody love me a carvery. Even though it was a real struggle to eat as it was absolutely boiling in there! We were sweating but it was still yummy!

We are really close friends as a 3 and we all worked together at one point which was so so good as we chatted loads and went out after work etc but then I left and now I hardly see Sarah. Which is really sad because I absolutely love her! We just always plan stuff, then one of us has to move it then the other moves the date and before you know it, it's been 2 months!

Anyway, food was yummy and we sat chatting for ages. Sarah is now seeing someone which is amazing as in the 4/5 years I've known her she's not been this excited about a genuinely nice guy! So I'm super excited for her and really hope it works out. 

Lois and Sarah still work in the nursery which I left about 3 years ago and they always tell me of the drama and antics that they get up to and it's fun to hear as I can imagine it and know of the workings there.. and love the goss of course!

They were in the kitchen and the toaster just randomly set on fire! Lois with the super powers unplugged it and took it outside! She doesn't even remember how she did it, adrenaline must have been pumping through her! My hero!  

What else.. we just talked about old times and the fun we've had camping, at the caravan.. clubbing.. arguing etc! Good times, I do love them. We really need to organise more plans! Lois is you're reading this COME ON! Plan us up woman.

I dropped Lois home and headed home myself, when I got back Ant was there with Matty.

They be chilling and gaming and I sorted lunches out for the next day and went up to chill myself. I sat with my little kitties and watch stuff on my phone.. I couldn't be bothered to turn the tv on as I wanted an early night. I regret that as Ant had more friends come over and kept me up late anyways! I say late.... late for me.

This week is going soooooooooooo slowly. Roll on the weekend please 

Simple Sunday

So the plan WAS to gym, Nando’s and cinema but it definitely ended up lay in the sun drinking cider, Nostrano Lounge and then cinema.

Much better! It as so nice, me Ant and Matty sat in our garden listening to music and topping up the sunburn. 

We then headed into Staines for some grub, we decided on nostrano as we could get something light and sit outside. 

Well we were supposed to get something light but ended up eating loads! It was yummy though, I had chicken and bacon panini with haloumi sticks on the side. Banging. 

Ant had a halloumi burger with extra burger and sweet potato fries and Matty actually had a salad. So one of us stuck to eating light... 

We then went off the to cinema to see Deadpool 2, it was really funny and I love me a bit of Ryan Reynolds, even if he does look like a Rice Krispie. 

We headed home and chill and sleeps. 

Monday was a good day, nice and sunny. Work was fine, met Ant for lunch, we went for a walk and sat down to eat our bagels. 

After work I headed home, sorted some housey stuff out then headed back to Ants work where he was still busy. I gave him his dinner and we went off to the gym! 

Then home to chill before bed as usual really!
